A project by Martial Geoffre-Rouland and Benjamin Gaulon, based on Corrupt a software developed on the web Glitch Art Software allowing its user to download and share corrupted images on www.corrupt.recyclism.com. Corrupt damages data on a binary level, resulting in unpredictable results. The software allows its users to trap videos stored on their computer, videos from their webcam or desktop in real time. When a clip is recorded, a 10 second video and animated GIF file are saved locally and automatically.
An interactive device is set up in a mini studio set up in a store on the Place de la Réunion, where residents can come and film themselves for a minute by interacting with an image corruption device. The images filmed by the inhabitants are then projected on 3 buildings in the square for two weeks as soon as night falls ...

On Saturday December 8, 2018 from 13 p.m. to 17 p.m., the Tangible Image Biennale is organizing an afternoon of meetings and discussions at the Marguerite Duras Media Library around new photographic practices, the history of experimental photography and advent of new digital tools. Guests are invited: two artists presented in the flagship exhibition of the Biennale (visible from 30 to 9 November 18 at the Red Studio, 2018 rue Boyer, 25 Paris), as well as theorists, historians and critics specializing in photography, contemporary art and in digital art….
